Moles, warts, cysts and even skin tags are skin lesions of various types. Though they are most often unsightly they are usually benign. However they may be painful too. At times they may even restrict movement. So, it is quite understandable that if some such condition arises then you will prefer to eliminate/treat them by resorting to some medical procedure.

Causatives of moles, warts, skin tags and the like

The skin lesions like moles and warts are caused by the specific warts viruses. Their action leads to formation of bumps on various parts of the body or even the soles of the feet. However, it needs to be remembered that a causative of warts may be deficiency of potassium too in the body system owing to unbalanced dieting or some other reason.

The warts are granular. Being caused by viruses these can be contagious too, especially if particular persons coming in close contact with the affected person are susceptible to the virus.

Various remedial measures aimed at eliminating the ugly moles, warts etc.

There are surgical procedures suggested for managing with complicated warts conditions. It is when treatments using creams, lotions, medicines etc. do not prove to be effective enough that surgical procedures are to be undertaken. This is a last resort.

For the warts etc. being caused by potassium deficiency the simple remedy is to take in food containing potassium. Diet supplements containing the mineral in adequate amounts may also be opted for.

Some simple ways of removing skin lesions- warts etc. are:
- Keep the area affected by wart soaked in warm water. Wait for 15 to 20 minutes and then let dry. Apply apple cider vinegar with cotton wool ball on the area and let it remain for 10 to 15 minutes. Finally, wash off with water and make the affected area dry.

- Dissolve an aspirin in a small drop of water. Apply this to the wart/lesion area. Finally, cover the area with a Band Aid. This is effective if carried out twice a day, everyday.

It is to be remembered that patience and perseverance play an important part in wart treatment. The moles, warts, skin tags etc. may seem to be unbearable from the cosmetic viewpoint. Yet, you should not feel frustrated and broken down and should adhere to the course of treatment recommended by a competent physician/specialist.

Of course you need not seek much professional guidance in case the problem is a minor one. In such case you can simply follow some simple but time tested procedures (like the ones suggested above) at home and wait patiently for the results to come forth.
