I was recently talking with James Ray, creator of the Science for Success program, and we discussed how luck isn’t really luck at all. We also discussed how positive relationships can impact your success.
Success Is Duplicable, Repeatable, and Predictable
A lot of people believe that success is a matter of chance or luck. But, it can't be, because if it were chance or luck, that means there's some capricious higher power up there picking and choosing who will win and who will lose. That goes against every single great teaching we've ever been exposed to. So it can't be chance or luck and I was talking to an individual, as a matter of fact on an interview. When you hear stars or famous individuals saying how they became successful they say "Well, I was just lucky." Well, that's not true.
Luck is an acronym for Living Under Correct Knowledge. When you understand how the universe works, and to align with that, then everyone around you might think you're lucky. You can just smile, because you'll know the truth.
Anyone who says they were lucky is what we call an unconscious competent. They are really competent, but they're unconscious of it. One of my teachers taught me a long time ago you don't really know something until you can teach it to someone else in a way that they understand it.
There are a lot of people running around who are competent, but they are unconscious. The problem with that is that if you are not consciously aware of how things work, then when it goes away, you can't get it back. You chalk it up to chance or luck. But it's not chance or luck at all. Success is an absolute science and it's duplicable, it's repeatable, it's predictable, it's achievable.
