3. Sell advertising direct to companies and organizations - This can really be the most lucrative way of making money with your blog, but it will take time and work. Companies will not want to pay for advertising on your blog if it doesn't get a lot of traffic, they're going to want some bang for their buck. Make your blog interesting, build up links to it, and in time you may be able to sell direct advertising.

Being paid to post on your own blog can also be done in a variety of ways, and they are fast and easy to get started with.

1. Sign up with a site like http://payperpost.com, http://www.blogitive.com, or http://payu2blog.com. Each one of these companies will pay you to post on your own blog. They have certain requirements that each post must meet, but if you can follow directions, you can certainly make a few bucks from this.

2. Sell posts on your blog to companies or individuals - Many times people are looking for a venue for an article they've written, a press release, a review. Take advantage of that need and offer space on your blog for a small fee. This too can be a great income generator.
